Lumbar back surgery recovery

I wanted to start off like the script like in Fight Club, jack's colon this, colon that, lol. Rhiannon's lumbar this....
To those inquiring minds, I'm ready to write about my health.
After waiting a scary month for my slipped disc surgery I finally went under the blade last week on 12th and decided I don't want to give birth, lol. I don't mind adopting and being a step mom but cant bear what I had to experience since some of the symptoms are similar to carrying a baby. And I only dealt with this for a few months.
I stayed in the hospital 12-15th, including Valentines. The day shows were all about Valentines; TBS, disney, even jerry springer. Home Improvement was about Halloween, ha. Then later received word on my college school shooting. What a shocker.
My parents came with me to the hospital. I was surprised my dad came, us 3 would poke fun at everything. I would make a comment to the nurse "I hope you're doing it right-I'm paying you." They shot a drug in my iv when it was time, in the hallway and I dont remember the bed moving any further.
I was waken every 2-3 hrs for stinking meds or blood pressure. Damn machine squeezes your arm- shouldn't that make your rating increase? I thought my back had worsened until I laid in my own bed and it was better.
Well so far, I can't tell if surgery helped. My toes are no longer fully numb. The right foot tingles. I still have the same limitations as before, slow walking, can't bend over. Stitches will be out on 25th, then I can stop taking sponge baths. (I already had some guys offer, thanks though) Next challenge is months of physical therapy. I may nt be able to bike or dance for a few months ; ( I'm amazed how much we use our damn toes, even to get up off the floor. The cane stays and now I have a grabber to help.
Now I hibernate and try to relax by watching tv or looking up interesting stuff online since I cant go out. I'm disgusted by tv! I finally got cable and internet in January. Theres a golf station! A speed station on racing cars! And all these Hollywood shows. Almost all the reality shows are based in LA. What happened to Boston or Frisco. I miss good sitcoms. Come back writers- Networks get some real depth. It used to be teens being left out, now its 20-30's yr olds. I don't wanna watch model shows or how to be a rap star.
To end it, I plan celebrating my recovery by getting a hotel with a big tub. I just want a bubble bath and massage. so I wait.....maybe this will happen in March. What hotels here have a big tub? maybe we can get a group and charge for so many bathtub hrs, ha.
Keep thinking of good thoughts for me to heal fast. I wont be able to go out for a few weeks-so hold on friends.
